Only in France...

I am sitting in the library working on my paper, and I overhear the following conversation. Never would this type of conversation occur between educated professionals in an academic setting in the USA:

Professor 1: I want a cigarette!

Professor 2: I want a cigarette too.

Professor 3: So do I.

Professor 1: Let's all go outside and have a cigarette party.

Professor 2: I need a cigarette like I need a man---real bad.
